How the community grows

The Network starts with conversation, not assignments. Some moments may be as simple as sharing a book, reacting to an idea, or telling us what you are seeing across your library.
When Bookmarked has a focused question, we will give it context and make the time clear. You are always free to join in, pass, disagree, or raise something we didn’t think to ask.

Ways to participate
Take part in the ways that feel natural.
Membership isn’t a schedule. Read an update, share a quick thought, add context, or join a small conversation when it fits.
Advisory Circles are optional 30-minute conversations with 6–8 members around one topic. They are one part of the Network, not a standing group or special tier.

Joining creates no purchase, referral, or endorsement obligation. We ask for professional context—not student, patron, circulation, or sensitive district data.
Some conversations may be recorded so Bookmarked can accurately bring the learning back into the work. If recording is planned, we will tell you beforehand and ask for exact consent; joining the Network or a Circle never grants permission to quote, identify, or publish you.

The Network is centered on Texas public-school librarians and library professionals: librarians, teacher librarians and media specialists, library aides and paraprofessionals, and district library leaders.
Teachers, campus and district administrators, ESC staff, and others whose work meaningfully intersects with school libraries are also welcome when they can add to—and respect—the conversation.
